I’m Ailidh and I’m a Scotland based, freelance photographer, drone pilot and slow traveller. I combine nature, adventure and real-estate photography with drone imagery and videography; I aim to capture the unique essence of each location. The more remote the better!

 

I studied fine art & photography before landing my first role working as a professional photographer onboard P&O cruise liners. Travelling & honing my skills led to a huge variety of photography roles across the world: from weddings in Australia to fashion shoots to landscapes. After taking the leap and started my business in 2022, Ive worked with some amazing adventure & real estate clients and I haven’t looked back!

 

I am also also deeply passionate about the link between nature & wellbeing. Ive spent three months hiking in the Himalayas & volunteering at a mental health charity in Kathmandu, I lived in New Zealand, Australia and on the Isle of Skye, exploring at my own pace and learning about the connection between nature & mental health. My time on the Isle of Skye changed me forever, I felt truly connected to myself for maybe the first time and felt a peace Ive never felt during my walks, hikes and eventual climbs in the Cuillin mountains. I studied ecotherapy throughout Covid and volunteered with a nature therapy charity to learn more about the connection between spending time in nature and our wellbeing. I’m hoping to connect with people and organisations that fit with that way of life.
